Located in Burj Plaza in Downtown Dubai — a short walk from Dubai Mall along the fountain boardwalk. The wings face the Burj Khalifa so you get both in one shot. Go at sunrise or just after — by 9am there is already a queue for photos. The evening is also excellent when the Burj Khalifa is illuminated behind you. Free to visit 24 hours. Weekday mornings are the only time you can get the shot without waiting.

Description
This massive steel feathered sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa is technically free to admire from street level, but climbing the internal stairs (paid entry) lets you perch at bird-eye height over the Downtown skyline and Burj Khalifa. It's worth the ticket if you want an unconventional photo spot without the Burj observation deck crowds, though go early before tour groups clog the narrow staircase.
