Ski Dubai is the main reason to come — even the free viewing gallery from inside the mall is worth a look. The Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale's wing is less chaotic than the main mall. Go on a weekday for a much more manageable experience. The Metro connection at Mall of the Emirates station makes it very easy to reach from anywhere on the Red Line.

The real draw here is Ski Dubai, the only indoor ski slope in the Middle East that's genuinely fun if you're not expecting Alps-level runs—go early to beat crowds and heat reflection off the snow. Beyond that, it's a standard high-end mall with decent dining and cinema, but you'll find better shopping variety and atmosphere at Ibn Battuta or The Galleria if that's your actual goal.
