Kite beach
Cues
The outdoor gym equipment at the southern end is free to use and well-maintained — better than many hotel gyms. Parking fills up by 7am on weekends, but there's overflow parking behind the Spinneys that most people miss.
Insider Cue
The food truck cluster at the north end of the beach is excellent — some of the best casual food in Dubai. Early morning is when locals come to exercise — the kite surfing scene gets going by 8am if the wind is right. The sunset view of Burj Al Arab from here is genuinely one of the best in the city and completely free. Avoid Friday and Saturday afternoons when it gets packed.

Description
The best spot in Dubai for actually doing something at the beach—kitesurfing and paddleboarding are genuinely excellent here thanks to consistent winds and a dedicated water sports zone kept separate from swimmers. It's got a relaxed vibe compared to the glitzier beaches, with decent beach bars and actual local energy, especially on weekends when you'll see the kite scene in full swing.
