The section of the promenade between the waterfall bridge and the sea is the most scenic stretch — about 30 minutes of walking. The illuminated waterfall bridge after dark is genuinely spectacular and almost nobody specifically comes to see it. Good restaurants and cafes line both sides. Go on a weekday evening for a relaxed walk without the weekend crowds. The canal connects the Business Bay end to the Jumeirah beach end — either end is a good starting point.

The pedestrian bridge here is genuinely worth the walk if you're in Jumeirah—it connects the neighborhoods across calm canal water and gives you rare views of Dubai that aren't about height or scale. Early morning is your sweet spot before tour groups arrive, and it's legitimately free, so grab coffee from one of the nearby cafés and linger without guilt.
